Allen's success in the game of golf was recognized early on. From college golf at the University of Georgia, to becoming #2 ranked U.S. amateur in America in 1969 and 1970 by Golf Digest Magazine, being a member of the 1969 and 1971 Walker Cup teams and a member of the 1970 Eisenhower World Amateur Cup team, his fluid swing was well known among the experts before he joined the Tour.

Allen has played in 5 Masters Tournaments, The US Open as well as numerous PGA Championships. His career as a PGA Tour professional spanned 15 years. He won the 1974 Tallahassee Open and he regularly competed against such greats as Lee Trevino, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.

Since retiring from the Tour in 1986, Allen has devoted his life to teaching, using his progressive system of learning that is based on a fundamental concept: Simple Solutions to the Swing.

Allen is a Past Champion, Life Member of the PGA Tour and a Champions Tour member who brings a unique perspective to golfers seeking to improve their games. His knowledge of the golf swing comes from a lifetime of playing and teaching experience.
